Wall Cabinet and Nightstand
This furniture set is made from Valcromat - a stylish alternative to MDF which is stronger and more environmentally friendly, water resistant, machines beautifully and comes in a variety of colors.
My challenge, due to the high price tag of the material, was to come up with original designs that allowed for 2 full pieces of furniture to be fabricated from one 4’x8’ sheet, while showcasing the versatility of the material.
This 3’ x 1’ x 1’ wall cabinet and full sized nightstand were cut from the same single sheet of Valcromat.
Speaker Cabinets
These speaker cabinets are made for a client who sells high end speakers. The design and requirements already existed and came with strict quality standards. Through a few iterations of prototyping, jig building, and testing, I developed a process that gave us a repeatable way to fullfill bulk orders with consistent results.
cnc mILLWORK
These CNC Cut lattice panels and trim were created for a garden room as part of a Georgetown home renovation. I designed the CNC programms to efficiently cut the panels in a way that gave a layered latticework effect, while nesting the dozens of required panels on the MDF sheets to minimize waste and ensure that each panel had no seems, except where it was unavoidable due to dimensional restrictions.
